I got the third book but I can’t remember if I’ve read this already or not…/sigh so here we are

Official petition for authors who haven’t touched people with tattoos to stop writing about touching people with tattoos😩
“I trace the raised lines of the tattoos on his shoulders and chest” - THEY SHOULDNT BE RAISED!? Did his tattoos get horribly infected after he got them!? Why are they RAISED!?

This may have been a book that wouldn’t have been surprising if I’d read a summary first, maybe?

I am trying very hard to read this but…I am learning that a) an audiobook with music and sound effects and acting in the background is so distracting in an extremely annoying way to my brain, and b) wow this is not dubious consent - everything in this book is actually just nonconsensual in an especially fucked up way? Like…it’s not even a steamy type of book…everything is so icky? I’m confused.

The first book was sweet.
I fear I am *already* deeeeply regretting this one.

I’m actually not even sure this is a romance?? It is…wow…so boring??

Mmmmm now that I add this to my Goodreads I see that it’s #2 in a series lmfao and I wonder if knowing that beforehand would have helped 😂💀 whoops

This books is actually so terrible and I am confused about why it was all over all my social media pages for so long back in its heyday…everything in this book has been badly written and straight up silly as hell??? 😂 like I cannot take any of it seriously

tbh this is probably the most embarrassing update for my 2025 reading goal but my cousins gave it to my partner for a joke birthday present and it had to be read 😂💀

This is nothing like The Wizard of Oz (in a bad way) so I am struggling 😿 …I may need to put this down and try again in the summer.

If there’s one thing I can count on B. K. Borison for, it’s describing her men main characters as just TOO IMPOSSIBLY AND ABSOLUTELY MASSIVELY HUGE for regular-people chairs…😂

But I caNOT with this woman having more than three different nicknames with different people…”Cinnamon Stick” “short stack” “La La” 🤮(on TOP of people calling her Stella when her name is Estelle)….its obnoxious.

Starting a fantasy book after finishing a different series fantasy book always sucks…because it’s just page after page of Capitalized Nouns to name Every Single Little Thing 😭
