Enjoying this so far!! I started with book 2 in the series so it’s nice to go to book 1 and understand the brothers origin story. Mark is so wholesome and adorable and I really like Ash as well so far 🥹

Quite literally one of the best books I’ve ever read…

Every now and again I read a horror and every time it changes me. Makes me marvel at the way language can be used to seduce, to dread cause dread….

This book is only different in that it might be the most brilliant horror novel I’ve read (the only thing comparable is Ring Shout by P. Djeli Clarke which also captured me quickly and entirely 🥲

Hoping to finish this today! This book is absolute nonsense but it’s soooo cute and endearing. Also appreciate all the Chicago references 😍
