Carl Brigham was a racist psychology professor at Princeton. He sat on the Eugenics Advisory Council and advocated for eugenics on the basis that “the decline of American intelligence [… is owed] to the presence of the negro.” (from his book ‘A Study of American Intelligence’) & because of this book, Brigham was asked to develop a test to screen college applicants: the Scholastic Aptitude Test, or SAT.🙃
