i went back a bit and apparently i didn't even pass out for that long, more like my attention drifted and all of a sudden they were banging. happened again later LMAO

fell asleep (literally, not figuratively) somewhere between chapters 9-10 and suddenly woke up in the middle of chapter 12 and didn't know how we got there so quickly omg

got 40 min in sleeping through most of it, decided to restart when up and out of bed

started on audiobook up to like chapter 5 and restarted from the beginning of the paperback

upped to 1.25x now, <8 hours left in the audiobook; listened to this all day today while doing database record cleanup. do we think i can finish this before it's due at 6:28pm tomorrow?

just a tiny bit in and i'm already hooked omg

started on the audiobook, got kind of stuck/attention drifted around chapter 4, switched to ebook and skimmed until i got to smutty stuff lmao

jeez i'm only thirteen pages in and already my heart hurts. this book is gonna be torture 😈

started this on audiobook then got super impatient and skimmed the ebook through to the end.

i know this is an insane thing to say given the US political climate right now (nazi germany speedrun any%) but this is too cozy-diverse for me (kind of how i felt reading brooms—see my review on it) and i'm gonna mark it DNF for now so i can make room for other reads. back cover calls it a space opera which i think is poor marketing.
