the „feasting“ has got to stop, there is nothing remotely sex about it 😭
also, i can’t bring myself to believe the love story between bryce & hunt and the spicy scenes seem hollow, empty. i’m being told there is attraction, love and longing but i’m not being SHOWN. where are the little touches in between, stolen kisses and glances, sweet cuddles and gentle hugs?

why did it take 200 pages for them to even share a kiss and WHY was it immediately about sex, like where has sweet and tender romance gone? 😭 I enjoy good spice as much as the next person but there needs to be a build-up? where is it, where?? 0–100 is not it, ugh

i’m starting to severely dislike hades. he’s acting like some entitled manchild and is becoming increasingly controlling and unhinged. somehow persephone is always positioned below him. he decides, she has to hope he offers her participation. they’re both summoned to zeus, of course HE goes and askes her if she’d “like to accompany” him. what the f? he’s unfair, somehow she ends up feeling stupid

ugh, I’m starting to feel like this is all a big pity party for hades. we’re watching sephy grow more and more into an insecure, male-centered person. where is her fiery and independent persona from the first book? it’s like the more she f’s with hades, the more it drowns away. and when she tries to be her own person and things don’t go super smoothly, poor poor hades is the victim.
