It has less of a feeling to each book as Garber’s last work, but the story feels like a direct continuation so it has its own intrigue

I have been loving this book so far, as it creates a story I hadn’t thought of Sanderson before. The story for Spensa has been interesting so far, with plot points surrounding her heavily showing different interesting stages to grief. I love been slowly accustoming to military type stories, but overall, I’ve just been happy with what Sanderson writes.
