I grew up collecting stamps, this book knows ball.
A little wary of how this plot is going, some things seem too convenient evidence-wise, but this is me dipping my toes into some Pynchon.

Ugh I have a hard time trying to empathize with this character at times... second part of this text is more insufferable

By my will may I see this through

Genuinely one of the most terrifying books I have read (not even done), sometimes it is truly shameful the reality we live in

Reading for my undergraduate thesis

By my will may I see this through

No, I have not forgotten about this book, just been busy

Also, I have my own copy now! Returned my borrowed one to my local public library

By my will may I see this through

This hits different reading on the anniversary of his death...

Found a blank post-it on the page to follow (the current copy I am reading from is from a local library, I have my own copy coming in the mail), like a sign to pause

By my will may I see this through

I do not want to burn myself out on a leisure expedition - I am enjoying the text, but it is a challenge - plus, I have my senior semester to work on!

Looking forward to enjoying this text further

By my will may I see this through

Longest endnote in the book done - this is just peak, this book - the range of subjects it covers, and how beautifully in the process

I wish people stopped labeling this as a performative read... go and pick it up yourself

My aunt was pleasantly surprised to hear I was reading this text and wants updates

By my will may I see this through

More Ennet House House (sic) plot - also what are they doing on MY island? Shoutout Long Island.

By my will may I see this through
(My agnostic prayer for this book, if you could not tell from previous updates)

Read some today but was interrupted by one of my classes being wiped off the face of the earth (the semester starts Monday by the way), possibly risking my chance at pursuing my thesis. BUT I think we are back on track and I have registered for a different class.

Back to regularly infinite jesting.

By my will may I see this through

Don't get me wrong, I like it, but I had a long day at work/home and I'm tired

By my will may I see this through

Update from my last note: SHEEE'S BAACK (literally mentioned in passing with Tiny's tattoo obsession) but I missed her!

We up jesting in these parts
Tennismaxxing on these TP-pilled losers or something

By my will may I see this through

I'm also a non-Cartesian, like the Himself's Himself

I hope to see Kate Gompert again, because that description of depression from many pages back was brutal and beautiful

By my will may I see this through

This book is just amazing. Some of the deepest, funniest, in-depth, and c.

Keeping my memos niche, call it notes from underground......................

Ughk

By my will may I see this through (I am back to this text)

This book is just terrible for my taste. Terrible.

But... going to finish it because
A) another book on the year
B) read it to see how bad it gets
C) maybe something will change my mind (big maybe)

Cooking

Dictionary history being tied into the abortion debate - oh DFW your mind was wide

Good

IRL is cool
Here I am online tho

The nuances and grandness of reality are slaughtered by WWW

Wow, this Pat guy is really not that nice.
Genuinely a terrifying text at times. The bluntness, the vulgarity, the reality.

I had a small installment at a Neo-Luddite art gallery yesterday, and part of it presented some books I was reading. Some guy told me that his high school had it for assigned reading... HUH?!?

Update: somehow my book got renewed in the system, so not as much rush.
More time to work on my (possible) thesis.
