Ione Skye is incredible vulnerable and honest and opens her life to the reader throughout the pages of her book. She is believable and likeable. She don’t once come across as annoying or cringe.
The themes of this book are mature beyond her years - being 18 and caring for Anthony Kedis during the height of his heroine addiction. Marrying Adam Dorowitz of the Beastie Boys at 21.
