Really immersive.

This part where Anne amd Davy discuss his praying habits is old fashioned and charmingly funny.

The monster s perspective is so good. I ve come around to this. Something about the writing is just so immersive.

The lake was very quiet and calm. All was at
peace around me. But I myself was not at peace. I was the only unquiet thing that wandered restless in a scene so beautiful and heavenly. I was often tempted to dive into the silent lake, that the waters might close over me and my disasters forever.

Im really enjoying this. Just got to the chapter where we meet Phil and wow is it charming.

The way this chapter goes from describing a impoverished french town to a this wine seller and then finally reintroduces our two established characters is unbelievable immersive. It's not that deep but wow did i enjoy this.

This fatherless child is murdering cats and dogs atp. But i feel like this should be hitting a lot harder. Very solid though. Cant put it down.

Demoralizing fiction that's impossible to put down. I was also very detached as a child, so memories being scattered puzzle pieces hits home, although not as extreme as this guy.

A standard but enjoyable character study. Most of this is just two characters in a hotel room and breaking into religius sects but its done really well i feel. The way its written is my cup of tea.

Like a pallet cleanser. I always find picking this back up super easy.

Such a flawed character i find him completely fascinating to read.
Grushenka and Koklakhova are also really entertaining.

A chapter with a celebration going on and Dmitry at one point hiding in a corner, planning to end his life...
