Why is it actually so funny though like this could be a comedy

An absolutely class first act.
It may be difficult to keep track of the characters if you're reading it sporadically, but I'm really enjoying it so far!
It's very like The Secret History, but in many ways fulfills what I felt it lacked. There's already much more foreshadowing, symbolism, a strong main character. But you could also argue that they falls victim to the Breakfast Club effect of superficial stereotypes..

"It does not do to be frightened of things about which you know nothing," he said. "You are like children. Afraid of the dark."

Obsessed so far. The pacing is perfect, the characters are so real, and the setting is perfectly modern gothic. Love it.

I already know this is going to be one of my favourite books of all time I actually go mad for it 😭 I've read so many dark academia, elitist school copycat novels that finally reading the blueprint is so exciting 😍

"As for the aged, I always contradict the aged. I do it on principle. If you ask them their opinion on something that happened yesterday, they solemnly give you the opinions current in 1820, when people wore high stocks, believed in everything, and knew absolutely nothing."

Unfortunately, it's been very hard to get through this book so far :(
There was a brief moment when it got good, but that was quickly overshadowed by the last 30 pages of pure yap. Hopefully it turns around again 😬

I know what's going to happen and it's so eerie but I can't stop reading 😭 I'm going to be sick 😭

If it pulls through and ends like I think it will, this might honestly be one of my favourite books of all time.

Long ahh book

Absolutely fantastic so far. Definitely going to be one of my favourite books.

Usually I love road trip arcs for character development, but this book has been a drag compared to the last one 🫠

Can this book get where it's going already broo there's 50 pages left and nothing has happened 😭 it's been a nothing sandwich so far
