Not even on chapter 7 and I’ve cried 3 times. No wonder people don’t want to talk about the Vietnam war.

I know it’s only January but I can tell this might be a top 10 favorite of all time

Having a really hard time staying interested in this one

The first couple of chapters already nearly had me in tears

Notes for review:

I wasn’t aware this was a collection of stories, which is not my favorite. the first story put me to sleep three times, and dragged on and on about mundane life matters (specifically, if they wanted to spend their money on decorating a room or buying a new fireplace) and it was easy enough to follow but difficult to get into. The 45% mark (second story) is finally getting better.

It’s giving “Black River Orchard” vibes and I love it

Great action, character development is increasing, romance is better, spice is higher

Some grammatical errors, repetition, and filler paragraphs. Good character development- both have layers. Spice is 3.5-ish/5 and well done.
