This chapter was unusual, for some reason Akito or whatever the bodyguard's name is, suddenly drops all his formalities and acts on love for Izzy? I could understand if they were gradually falling in love to which the book kind of eludes to at least on Izzy's side but it was very very random. Also, the way the author thinks teenagers talk is very weird...I would never say half of the dirty things izzy says out loud..

The book has gotten more interesting since the last update, but I still think all of the characters are rather stereotypical. There are two twin princesses trying to ruin her life, a hot stoic security guard, and a carefree cousin who guides her around the city. Which in itself is fine, but they follow the stereotypes so clearly that they don't have any depth in their characters, I'd love to see a plot twist soon.

Okay, the character got like a lot better so maybe I don't hate it as much as I did. She at least admits now that her flaws are bad, before she did not and that was what threw me off. It's also nice to see that Akio isn't as much of a stereotype as I thought he was. He's not just cold and mysterious, he actually has a personality, lovely.

Missed update #3
Enjoying the story so far, but this flawed protagonist is so flawed that she has little manners and sticks out embarrassingly as a sore thumb. It's not even good flaws that could work towards character development, it's flaws like "i'll wear pajamas to my first meeting of the royal guards."

The book's fantastically sort of unlikely event chain continues where every single guard of the princess is handsome. I enjoy the story so far but it feels like the author has given this character so many flaws and traumas that she is beyond relatability despite the character seemingly aiming for that "just like the other girls" sort of vibe.

Missed update #1

At first this book felt very much like an adult trying to think of how teens talk to each other which was entertaining to say the least. It was also a fantastically type of story that I wasn't used too. The sort of story set in the real world but one that would probably never happen, which did make it hard to read.

The book ended on a very strange note and I couldn't tell you the significance in the ending.

The author describes some of his inspiration behind the book after it ended, which cleared up a lot about all the metaphorical language in the book because the author speaks the exact same way.

The story has progressed a lot, it's gotten more confusing and I feel like I'm missing important clues. I have no idea why the protagonist acts the way he does and the underlying story seems to say why, it just does so in riddles that I am not understanding.
This book is very interesting in the way that its written, the words are almost sluggish sometimes in certain characters who use slang I've never seen before...

This book has gone from pretty decent to insanity in a very short period of time. I thoroughly enjoy reading it, however the format in which the panels are drawn and the book is phrased is up there with some of the most difficult literature I've ever read. I have never at any point while reading a book had to go back and reread more than 3 times as I've one so far in this book.
The story is very interesting though.

This book is written in a very challenging way to read. The characters are very politically themed and it seems there"s a hidden message under the main story line. Perhaps about anarchy and freedom in a time where London is in a depression with terrible leaders.

These final few chapters were impactful talking about not only the author's terrible experiences with the internment camps, but the fact that the government took decades to ever admit their wrongdoings. The author said that though eventually he and his family were gifted $20,000 in recognition for surviving the camps, by that time only about 1/3rd of Japanese survivors were compensated due to many passing on.

Currently I'm enjoying this book, it really easily maps out timelines and doesn't dwell too long on any one event, making it pleasant to read. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to the author because I believe this book has connections to New Mexico due to the Japanese camps that once existed here.

The book was a quick and easy read that I managed to finish in one class period. It was an interesting story and I really liked how the protagonist got some development. She went from reclusive and edgy to a bit more open-minded about the world around here.

Celine Andrae is finished with Wonder Woman: Warbringer
This comic book brings Greek history into a work of fiction by having characters reflect morals that fallen heroes have. By doing so, it becomes easier to understand what the characters are aiming to achieve. This book is also an origin story, so we get to see how a classic superhero, Wonder Woman came to be. This book is also only one of a series so I look forward to reading the next book.

This comic book brings Greek history into a work of fiction. It's a very interesting balance between the two, with most characters' morals reflecting those of fallen heroes. It seems that this is only the first book in a series because the author leaves it on a cliffhanger, so I am looking forward to reading the next book and discovering the new progression of character development.

I enjoy the story so far. The Protagonist is wonder woman and I believe this novel is her origin story. It's hard to tell exactly what's going on just because of the magical world that I don't know much about. along with a fantasy element, the author added some real Greek historical history in it, therefore you can kind of figure out what's going on.

The protagonist did not receive his well needed character development, but the story somewhat morphed around his personality instead. I enjoyed reading this book as it was very different from what I'd normally pick up.

The main story line has ended and the characters are now somewhat flailing around, it seems like the author decided to cut out the part where the protagonist got any character development. Instead he won the competition and now he's got more of an ego. Oh well, at least they're fighting the aliens now!

I've enjoyed reading the book today, the characters are starting to get deeper into the hidden story line, and we also have a mysterious supporting protagonist who I love so much. It's also become easier to understand the science fiction aspect of it, as the terms in the book became more familiar.

The main character is slowly starting to get a character arc. He's still in his own world and I'm pretty sure now that he will stay in said word, but maybe get a little better at social interaction.
It's a very interesting story so far and I think it definitely has some comments about racism in real life.

I really enjoy the plot so far, I don't think the protagonist is going to get the needed character development for a while..
Also there's a girl by the name of Mina who's really caught my eye, she's kind of out of place on this strange word. I can't wait to see how her character fits into the story.

I've just begun reading this book, I so far am thoroughly enjoying the space/science fiction concept of the book, however I do think the protagonist could use some character development! He seems very lost in his own world and can't seem to figure out why, so I can't wait to see if he figures out what's troubling him.

This book does not have pages so I counted up to part two and got around 18 pages.
I learned a lot about the kingdom of themyscria, I'm really enjoying how matriarchal the book is so far. Also, Tek is mysterious and I feel like she has a hidden backstory that makes her a bit of a jerk.
