Genesis starts to make good friends, she is also doing better in her classes. She even auditions for the school talent show and makes it in.

Genesis is getting used to her new school. One of her classmates, Troy, is tutoring her in math and she is getting the hang of it. Genesis gets along really well with the chorus teacher, and her life at home is starting to come together.

Genesis arrives at a new school. She has an immediate liking for the chorus teacher. Some other kids were rude to her and made fun of her, but Genesis ignored them.

As Genesis goes home from school, she finds all of her furniture laid out in the middle of the yard. Kicked out of her home because of debt issues, Genesis and her parents need to find a new home to live in. Genesis's dad promises a new, upgraded home that they can stay in, but Genesis and her mom are suspicious that he can keep us with his promises.
