I feel so much for Vanessa, the way she’s written makes you feel the confusion,guilt,denial and her difficulty to grasp reality. Which you love and want to just cradle her for because she’s just a child.

Okay it’s getting more intense, I’m liking it

So, I get Poe is supposed to be this "cynical", "lost faith in humanity" and uses self deprecation and humor as a coping mechanism - character. But the constant out of place "jokes" or remarks she makes is kind of unlikeable. Especially when she's speaking with Ian, he seems more logical in comparison during their dialogue and it's bugging me. I am still intrigued to figure out who really is the killer.

I weirdly enough love the descriptions of Bailey and Grimm, that to me is very vivid. Poe and Dad relationship also, it is a soothing vibe. I am def more invested now, I want to understand who Ian really is.

I’m liking the story so far…narrator voice is not warming up to me yet. Some parts it’s hard to believe these come from a female mc. But I like the premise so far.
