It's not a good sign that I'm already done with the book after getting through the prologue. I've liked things from Yuval in the past, but this one is just such a slog to get through. Also, the way that AI is being talked about (as if it is infallible) seems like all of this book is based off a fundamental misunderstanding of what AI is and how it ACTUALLY hurts people (rather than the fantastical AI overlords view).

This is rough so far. I’m not a huge fan of stream of consciousness books, though I see what the author is trying to do with it. Just woof.
