I haven't bought any of Lynn Painters books before (although I've only read... 2? 3?) but i did in fact preorder trust fall 🤭 I couldn't help it, the cover is too cute and I'm a fall girl and I have high hopes 😌

I originally started reading Ruthless Vows but changed my mind and decided to reread this! I'm glad i did cuz i missed this world. Also Jacks has arrived 😍😍

this book is reminding me how my biggest flex is that my boyfriends name is Jack (which is close enough to Jacks) and he has blond hair and blue eyes...
and they said book boyfriends aren't real smh

ugh i'm obsessed

AHHHHH ITS HERE!!!! Prepare to not see me for the foreseeable future

crashing out rn because the mirror of infinite endings was supposed to come today but now it's not coming till tomorrow 😭😭😭😭

IF I SEE ANY TMOIE SPOILERS TODAY ILL CRY

When i'm sad but then remember that
The Mirror of Infinite Endings (new OUABH book) is released tomorrow!
Trust Fall (new Lynn Painter book) will be released in a week
Dangerous Impulses (New Naturals book) AND A Conspiracy of Charming Monsters (New Cruel Prince book) are both coming out in a month and a half (November 3rd)

i really wanna stay up and finish this but i gotta get up at 6:30 am tomorrow 🥲

when im sad but then i remember that in 2 days i get to read about eva and jacks again

whoever said this series has no spice clearly has different opinions on what counts as spice 💀

James and Warner talking is hilarious lol

Bro my reading last fall/early winter was SO PEAK
I was reading the Naturals, The Winter Souls Series, Caraval, OUABH, and Throne of Glass ALL FOR THE FIRST TIME??? Like bring me back to last fall please

okay so i hate adam now

Okay this is actually super good so far!! I didn't find myself getting bored at all, which is saying a lot for the first 100 pages

lowkey scared to read this, cuz it's so many people's favourite in the series, and i wasn't a huge fan of unravel me, plus my previous read was a dnf which is always demotivating. But hopefully i enjoy this! Good so far

Soft dnfing for now 🙃 I just can't really get into it and i keep zoning out like every other page lol. i'm sure it's a good book just not what i want right now. but hopefully i can come back to this soon!

i hate the goodreads mobile app sm. it's way better on the website on a laptop

books that take place at like a boarding school/academy type setting are literally so peak

it's pretty good, but all the jumping around and stuff is confusing me a lot 😭

can't wait to start this! hope it gives me the dark fantasy vibes i'm looking for 🤭

gulp

i wanna finish this book soon soooo ima try and lock in and get a decent amount read this evening 😅

Starting to get really good!!!
