Going back to the dark tower world is a welcome change. I know it’s a side quest but after finishing the series, this feels like meeting old friends for one last beer.

Book #2 on Stephen King read thru. God bless for more Salems Lot content/lore.

The first book on my quest to read the entirety of Stephen kings works. Super slow pacing thus far. Annie Wilkes gotta be the spookiest villain kings ever created.

*audiobook* Heard this series is even better on audiobook, picked up the “dramatized” version that just adds background music and effects, and has a full cast of different voice actors for the characters which is awesome. Looking forward to plowing thru the rest of this series.

Just an insanely weird, highly entertaining book. I heard the audio is much better with the different voices and it does not disappoint

I understand what people mean when they call this a “bro book” and I have zero shame in enjoying every part of it.

Starting a Stephen king classic that’s been on my list for a while. Loving his works that stray a bit from his horror roots. While this one’s still in thriller territory, it’s way more in the detective/mystery genre which I’m interested to see more of from Stephen king since I understand this is a trilogy with a couple spinoffs.

It’s medieval suicide squad with magic and vampires and werewolves. What more do you want?

Listening on audiobook, and it’s the first audiobook I’ve ever done. So far like the audiobook format, and solid book. Different from Kings other works but still fantastic. Shoutout to my wife Amber for recommending this one.

This is the second book I’ve read this year with a priest as an important character that sacrifices himself for a small child. Which isn’t a lot but as a good Catholic boy, weird that it happened twice.

Holy wow this book is a lot. After seeing it pop up one too many times on my instagram reels, it sounded too good to pass up so I bought it and have not been able to stop reading it. It was described like if the Last of Us merged with Elden Ring, cosmic horror and all, and that hits the nail on the head while simultaneously having no way to describe this book. Probably gonna finish today.

Lots of science mumbo-jumbo I don’t necessarily understand, but don’t really need to, very well written thus far. Looking forward to digging into this more

Loved the original hunger games, and at my wife’s prodding I finally started this one. Just as excellent story telling as the original series. The tension of wanting to feel bad for snow, only to be followed by disgust at his real feelings and internal monologue is impressive writing. Excited to wrap this one up.

Always wanted to read through the bond novels, lucky for me wifey has several so starting with the first is the logical choice. Great writing thus far!

Always been on my list since it’s one of King’s classics, and after finishing Dark Tower series I needed more Father Callahan in my life. Excited to get into this one.

One of the best westerns ever written. Read it before but it’s been a long while, nice to catch up with Mr. Cogburn.

Some absolutely devastating losses in the early part of this book. The journey to the tower nears its end. May god help us all.
