Emerald Fennell is about to ruin the hell out of that adaptation, good god.

Started reading this while up north & so far it’s given me a lot of Why & almost no How :/ 80 pages of “it’s important to make a good impression” and “students only achieve mastery with an effective teacher,” (both things I already KNEW) & no telling me how to make a good impression and how to be effective in the first days of school. It’s kind of just reading like a collection of teacher taglines.

Onto Volume II, let’s gooooooo

Cathy is kinda awful but maybe my opinion of her will change. Hopefully.

I'm enjoying this a lot, I just wish I could understand what Joseph is saying even just 50% of the time.

Reading this for class 🫡 I’ve never been a big graphic novel fan but Mohamed uses her art to make really good social commentary 👍
