Started reading this while up north & so far it’s given me a lot of Why & almost no How :/ 80 pages of “it’s important to make a good impression” and “students only achieve mastery with an effective teacher,” (both things I already KNEW) & no telling me how to make a good impression and how to be effective in the first days of school. It’s kind of just reading like a collection of teacher taglines.
