Ahhh, I love this already.

OMG. I'm already loving this.

Have you ever felt that a book is meant for you? I gobbled up a third of this yesterday when I should have been doing all the other things and now I can't wait to get back to it.

So far, a page turner.

I know very little about this world, but man this book is fascinating.

This book is going to break my heart, I can just feel it.

Rereading for spring 2020 syllabus...

A long over due reread!

So far, so really good.

I'm torn between wanting to race through this (it's that gripping) and wanting to slow down and savor every word.

You know that feeling you get when you read a chapter of a book from a writer you've never read before, and it's so well done that you feel this immense relief and gratitude, and then you know you can just sit back and enjoy the story?

Yep, that feeling.

Horror: Do not put that substance in your mouth.
Anger: How can you just let them suffer that way?
Resignation: This is what happens when you value corporations over people.

Okay, I get why so many of my friends have raved over this book.

I love that this book referenced the Invisible Gorilla Project (selective inattention).

All I want to do is race to the end of this book, it's that good. (And writing my Spring 2019 syllabus be damned.)

I would last five minutes in the jungle.

Wowza, that first chapter!

At this point, I can't tell if I love or hate this book. But that itself is kinda compelling.
