The garden scene 🌹❤️😩

Ok 1st chapter was scary. There’s a literal demon in her head for 11 years! I almost had to stop reading cause I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night. Then chapter 2 or 3 not so bad. I love that it’s a gothic fantasy series that is different from the typical stories I read about fae. By chapter 5 I was already eating this up. Ravyn gives me Xaden vibes.

Ok giving this another chance with the audiobook on Spotify. This book is meant to be listened to with different narrators than it is to physically be read. I’m determined to finish for book club.

Everyone in book club agreed that “Merry Christmas, You Flithy Animal” was not it. I was 5 chapters in and couldn’t continue reading anymore. It was so cringe with the narrator and the MMC’s POV. He’s literally 30 going on 13!

Another super slow read since I have the paperback version and I can only hold a physical book in my hands so often.

This is my super slow read since I watched the tv series, I already know what happens. I’m really just reading to get all the details that aren’t explained in the show, especially Alina’s POV.

Only got to page 23 before the first book club meeting lol but the tea was hot! So much fun. Anyways, gonna have to finish this later to read next month’s book. I now have 4 books that I’m currently reading plus Bible studies. Why did I do they to myself? Idk. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mal is so sweet! I love him more in the book than the tv series.

He fired the temu Kylie Jenner maid after she called Mila a whore. 🤭 He did some questionable things at first but I mean that is typical morally grey MMC behavior. He is forgiven and definitely fell for Mila before kidnapping her.

Uhhh some of this is a little too dark for me

How is Mika so ignorant she hasn’t put 2+2 together that Ronan is not a rich politician 😂 Girly he’s got tattoos on his knuckles and practically the whole city treating him like a king.
