Reading this living in the Black Forest felt very special.
Shout out to the Cold Heart art exhibition in Stuttgart for convincing me to read this !

Saw an art exhibition in Stuttgart based on this short story and it was so beautiful I had to read the story and it was worth the read !!

Weird, funny and mischievous reflections on childhood that transforms into a pretty crazy experience of motherhood.
It’s told through such beautiful poetry and really striking visuals and I think it is a really memorable book

Beautiful! So many insightful passages about the language used in regards to plants and nature. Honestly it was really eye opening and may have changed my entire outlook on life lol

Only read a wee bit so far but wow?? So creative and engrossing totally profound

ummm am I the only one in the world that just doesn’t get this book..

halfway through and I don’t want it to end! Zweig is a genius
