This book is just creepy and thrilling. Hence it being a thriller I suppose. I am really loving the feeling that King is conveying in this story.

This book is getting more and more intense! I really am enjoying it. Norton just got what was coming to him, but sucks that those people followed him. Oh yeah, spoilers.

This story is really good. It surprises me that this book has a less than 4 Star rating, although granted I’m no more than halfway through.

It gives me Alan Wake vibes. Or rather it is more likely that Alan Wake was inspired by Stephen Ming’s writing. I get the feeling of cosmic horror, or some kind of experiment gone wrong.

Bethod claims he made Logen into a monster. How so? Did he kill Logen’s wife and children?

I am really enjoying this story (or stories). I initially did not like the Shevedieh, Javre, and Carcolf storyline but the more of it I read the more it becomes my favorite thread in the book.

I’m really enjoying this collection of short stories. My favorite so far is probably either Temple’s prologue in Dagoska or Glokta’s prequel leading to his defeat and capture by the Gurkish. I love stories like this that flesh out lore mentioned in passing in earlier books.

While the Heroes is definitely the most unique of the stand alones, Red Country definitely has a unique flavor and depth resembling the American West.

They are making it to the mountains! I wonder if there is actually a dragon under the mountain 👀

This story is getting crazy! So many twists and turns. If the first two were 4 star reads, this one is easily a 5 star; and I haven’t even gotten to the end!

The story is building in an awesome way. “The Bloody Nine! King o’ the Northmen!”

A world on fire that grows magical plants that are harvested the same day… a Rosharin protagonist with a Radiant bond… ritual sacrifice? Color me intrigued!
