Definitely gained charm as it went along! Some very emotional beats, as well.

Issue 6 definitely does much to flesh Clark's personality out, and show off different sides of him at different points in life (also significant hints that this story won't end as we've been led to believe).

Clark had a more charming dynamic with Jimmy Olsen than he did with Lois Lane, imo.

Doesn't work as well as a standalone as much as it does within a given continuity, the portrayal of Clark himself is quite bland at this point without other stories to fill in the blanks.

For some reason, I'm starting to suspect that Alice isn't a happy, content individual. 🤔🤔🤔
