Better than listening to silence but not by much

I’m getting nervous about the ending 😬

Absolutely loving this series. It’s insanely addictive even though nine books feels like so many. Still can’t stop reading, though.

The world and writing are cool, but I still don’t get why he’s letting her stick around. Like, there’s no obvious reason for them to be together, I feel like I missed something in an earlier scene. Still reading though. So far I’m pretty Meh on the whole thing.

yeah… this still sucks. If I had another Audible credit I’d DNF without a second thought. It finally makes sense and I still don’t care. Just boring all around.

Getting easier to get through, the Felesia night story really helped this book along. I like that Lion

I think I’m just too dumb for this book or maybe I didn’t pay enough attention in the beginning, but I am for sure struggling to get a grasp on what’s happening.

Surprisingly really enjoying this book

Still disgustingly difficult to get myself to read this book. I’ve finished two audiobooks and one standalone ebook in the time I’ve read less than 200 pages of this book. I will persevere.

It has genuinely been so difficult to pick this book up.

Genuinely one of the worst books I’ve ever read. There were points where I actually and legitimately would have rather cut my toes off one by one than continue reading this monstrosity of a book. I tried, I really did. Please do yourself a favor and pretend like this book was never written. DNF I just can’t do it anymore.

I’m on page 14 and I am already so confused? You’re telling me this girl was stolen at birth and has been kept captive and chained up since then and she says “I didn’t know what I looked like. I didn’t even know my own name.” But somehow she knows it’s her birthday?? Make it make sense

It’s pretty good so far, good magic building, I feel like I haven’t quite grasped the details but I understand the concept well enough. I like Elspeth
