Could not finish this. No idea why anyone things this is a good historical fiction novel. It's gay erotica wrapped in historical fiction/mythology. How I made it through 35% is beyond me. The entire beginning was uncomfortable to read - unless you enjoy reading about sexual thoughts of pre-teen boys. Garbage.

This is a VERY disjointed read. Almost like trying to put too many scenarios in a short amount of space.
