So far there’s a lot I like but… I’m struggling caring about the characters. Not enough development for me. Hoping for a big climactic ending!

This is special.
I don’t know what to compare this trilogy to, aside from obvious sci fi staples like War of the Worlds, Foundation, etc. But this story hits on something far more realistic. If aliens were on the way - it would go down exactly like this.

Best book I’ve read in a while in terms of just plain fun and amazing entertainment and even great depth. I will enjoy this series for a long time coming, can’t wait to read book 2!

This may be the most dread filled story I have read since House of Leaves. I’m scared to keep going… because I feel that no good can come of this damn house.

So far it’s a lot like the series but I love it so much. The story is impeccable and I can’t wait to finish it and go onto the second book.

Wolf is the greatest character I was never expecting. This book took a while to get going but I’m fully invested now. Can’t wait for the Duffer Bros series adaptation.

It took a second to really get going but my god this is a great story.

This book is blowing my mind. I cannot put it down. I know the conclusion is said to be very divisive but so far I’m absolutely obsessed with this entry. It may be my favorite so far. I am scared to death at who’s going to die though…

This book gets so much hate but it is so good. I do not understand what people disliked about it. The novel is so obviously a prelude to the finale, and I am so excited to read the final book and get to the Dark Tower once and for all.

Started a bit slow with a ton of character building but- as of where I’m at now in the story it’s genuinely scary stuff. I thought this book would be goofy as hell but it’s actually brilliantly done. As is almost always the case with The King.

So far it’s a Shakespearean magnum opus that I cannot put down. I’m enjoying the vivid backstory very much and it’ll only add to my excitement to her back to Eddie, Susannah, Jake… and Oy of course.
