She's not a very good assassin

I'll always be confused when I read a book that's super interesting but also manages to absolutely drag at the same time

I was really liking this up until *spoiler* a man in jail is interviewed because he's about to go on parole then threatens a bunch of people and goes apeshit and assaults the interviewer on camera. Buddy your parole is being revoked and you have new charges to add time now. This bitch would never get out of jail wtf

I've said this with the past three books but I really mean it this time: I'm not reading anything else in this series. God this is so pointless and poorly written

I need to start skimming this because the majority of it is pointless

My least favorite thing about this series is how the author frequently talks about a character in a scene without naming them or giving them any defining features so you have no clue what's going on

My friend gave this to me to borrow like... 4 months ago and I'm just now getting to it. Whoops

DNF'd solely because the audiobook file for this on KU is corrupted and I can't get it to play consistently no matter what I try

A question for those of you who read illustrated media; are you counting manga and graphic novels toward your reading goal? Are you adding each individual book to your count, or counting a few as one, or maybe even just the series as a whole as one? Or maybe not at all? I don't know why I'm so torn on this.
