This series is so fun and cozy and this is no exception! I love how the timeline of each story weaves into the other books, too.

I've been so excited to read this over the past year and the release day is finally heeeere! 🥳 The excitement of waiting for and reading books on release day is so delicious

So far this is less about the history of psychedelics and the government and more about the author's journey of research :/

I'll always be confused when I read a book that's super interesting but also manages to absolutely drag at the same time

I was really liking this up until *spoiler* a man in jail is interviewed because he's about to go on parole then threatens a bunch of people and goes apeshit and assaults the interviewer on camera. Buddy your parole is being revoked and you have new charges to add time now. This bitch would never get out of jail wtf

I've said this with the past three books but I really mean it this time: I'm not reading anything else in this series. God this is so pointless and poorly written

I need to start skimming this because the majority of it is pointless
