I’m enjoying this, but this book is way smarter than me

I’ve never actually really researched England during WWII (other than Narnia) or Churchill’s personal life, so this has been interesting. I like how Larson is going back and forth between Germany and England so you have all the context.

This book had me instantly hooked. From the writing to the whimsy I am loving this so far. I also love Holland, she’s such a great main character.

I have loved studying the history of language and how it changes, so I’m really enjoying C.S. Lewis’ thoughts on it.

I’m just so confused😭
