Mark Lawrence has a subtle wit. His Library (this book) is a masterpiece!

Watt has quite the wit.

What an amazing stew of characters Dickens has in this pot! I'm surprised it took me so long to get around to it. Then again, I was "forced" to read "Great Expectations" in high school. :(

This is beginning to remind me of Michael Crichton's Timeline.

Had to go back and reread some of the beginning paying attention to dates. A bit of a roller coaster this tale. The timeline oscillates like a loose rope being shaken.

On hold until early September. Not released for Kindle until then.

King can certainly get long winded on how many ways a human can die or bring about their own demise. At least I connected the dots on the dreams correctly. Simply put, this is not my genre, but I'll continue.

I think there is a bit of Ayn Rand going on here.

Deception, deception, misdirection. Love the subplots.

No real bumps unless keeping the characters straight in the early going is a speed bump.

Many sub-plots. Even an Agatha Christie tale. Akin to watching a play unfold on five separate stages at the same time. Mr. Hamilton is amazing!

So far, a lot going on in various aspects. And to the author's credit, he is only introducing the players.
