Thibgs are getting more day to day, but there are little thibgs that annoy me still. But its fine, theyre just minor

This story timeskips a lot and i dont know if i like it. Perhaps it'll calm down and go more day to day once he gets a certain level?
Spoiler example:
His friends leave and all of a sudden he has a girlfriend and we get a short recap of how they met, instead of... organically going thru it

I'm confused where exactly MC came from, with mentions of hell, salem, college, america, etc. Maybe i just misread the beginning and thought he was saying he was from hell? 🤷‍♀️ seems low key interesting so far
