I think it's supposed to be endearing that the main character substitutes silly phrases for cuss words but every time he does I cringe a little bit. How am I supposed to take him seriously as a bad ass alpha male if he says shit like: terrible turtles, pepper pie, and granny's panties instead of fuck, shit, etc...
