Let’s be honest, if vampires exist, they wouldn’t be the monsters we read about. We just use those stories to help us sleep at night. Vampires would be far more normal, that’s the only way they’d have gone so long undiscovered. And I’ve never understood vampires and zombies killing humans. The end of humanity would mean their starvation and end of reproducing, respectively.

While I hate the cliche of a vampire finding one human whose blood is irresistible, and it just happens to be the most attractive person they’ve ever seen… I do like the lore behind this vampire universe.

I do wish their fight was a little less short-lived… I don’t like when that Griff was SOOOOOO mad and then literally like 5 minutes later, he forgave Mal. Like I just feel like Griff wouldve at least needed a little bit of time (even like just a day or two) even after he was nearly killed.. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I really feel like Alice actually does love Griff… I’ve been wondering since she kissed his cheek. Like she knew the whole time that Mal and Griff loved each other and belonged together, and that she could never be with the one she loved (Griff)

I’m so freaking obsessed with this book! It hit EVERYTHING I enjoy about reading and was just written perfectly! I seriously am already ready to reread it!

Between the MM, hockey, heart wrenching mistakes and regrets, beautiful reunion, and just clear OBSESSION between Shep and Riles… this is definitely one of my all-time favorite reads. It had be in happy and sad tears! 🥹🩷

Even the rivalry just made me giddy and feel like a kid again! Someone that could just focus my whole world on one thing! It was a nice world to step into.

And god, Doe and Wells were so hot together 🥹❤️

Such a cute, fluffy romance!! Young adult.. but actually a little bit of spice 🌶️🌶️ and it was very open, which I’d much prefer over a ton of innuendos. I ADORED Doe and Wells!!! And really loved all the other characters and stories! A very well rounded book! Left me wanting more!
