I really thought Adrissu would fly out to defend the city. I feel like the story did not spend enough time on his grief from losing Ruan. The fast forwarding makes the loss feel a bit distant.

Why the fuck is Taylor arranging to meet up with Rhett in an empty parking lot? He picked it because it was ‘public but empty’ - when people say to pick a public spot, they mean a spot with OTHER PEOPLE AROUND.

I cannot believe Calis is giving his mom attitude as she hints to him that he should dump his girlfriend that he dislikes before he cheats on her with Taylor… ma’am you have raised an awful son

Calis has been such an asshole so far. Being extremely disrespectful to his girlfriend and not bothering to break up with someone he doesn’t even like; lashing out at Taylor out of jealousy.
