I've got one question about this: is it an own voices book or why is one of these characters *constantly* stating that she's a scorpio?
That is the only thing throwing me off, it seems like such a cliche to picture wlw as obsessed with star signs

This is making me giggle like a teenager. Also, I love how Mosscap is as excited about its satchel as we, women, are about pockets in dresses

This feels like a 5 star read already, it also feels like I'm going through character development while reading. There's a lot of things being talked about that can be categorized as philosophical or intellectual. This reads like a Solarpunk story, *while* it maps itself out, if you get the idea my thoughts are traveling in. It's hard to put into words because this is making me think in so many different directions

This is packed - not as quick to read as I would have expected and would probably recommend reading it in your primary language, if possible.

So far I want to say that I see why there is feminists criticising this book. I want to say that you shouldn't expect feminism here, instead there is some sexist takes.

Reading their voices is so important because you will notice all the details that you never had to think about if you grew up safe. Like going to bed with contact lenses just because you don't want to be bombed in your sleep and wake up not seeing anything..

Happy to having entered the female rage part of this book, the men in this are pure scum. They make me sick to my stomach

Reading this and reading books on feminism about how little men hold each other accountable when other men are predators is unnerving. I'm feeling female rage for Dahye and women in general. Can't wait to read on

I am angry for all of the innocent lives lost and mutilated. I am so very angry and I keep crying for all of the people that Plestia met and all the people she had to leave or might not meet again. I am so sorry that the world failed all of them by just watching and dismissing the cruelty.
