Intriguing and DARING

Sadly an uninteresting way to end the story with more philo mouth puppetry

This is a lot better than the other stuff, just a really cool premise and a fun way of unfolding it

Well written, chaotic but not hard to follow, full of detailed descriptions and fun turns of phrases

more theoretical than historical but its important groundwork i guess. still the outbreak of martial law came a bit short

Ok im understanding more but just tried to explain it to someone else and felt insane and incoherent

Fun, well written start. Very cinematic

I dont feel too lost nor do I really understand whats going on. Ill stick with it for a while but might have to actually do some maths to understand why matrices are used here...

The narrator was so uninteresting.. The parrot text was also whatever

the museum one was .. ok? the current one about language and recollection is one half bad and one half ok

Interessantes unerwartete Entwicklung die in der Komplexität auch die Witze lustiger macht

Ok, kind of interesting. Ähnlicher humor wie Catch22, nicht besonders lustig aber das hat vllt mehr mit Performance als mit Text zu tun.

Truly what a terrible story. It felt just as lifeless and meaningless, meandering, shallow and unconfident as a Black Mirror episode. Also its like half the book so this will strongly influence my overall perception of the collection and Chiang

Reading the novella; the writing style has taken duch a massive hit, it feels written for children, chiang overexplains every intention and interiority and the sentences are extremely sauceless

He lost me at the chemistry bits for a second but the mass wave stuff is super fascinating, although i would like to read about the experiments that had to follow that idea

The first story had sophiszicated writing and felt like a clear nod to Borges, but the second one was a much more classic example of a modern sci fi story, a bit too sentimental for my taste although the idea (basically the entropical hiccup theory) was really fun to explore. The third little text was sappy and kind of cheap

physics and light 💟

Googling stuff every few pages but im following along much better now that i have a foundation to build on. Also the first time in my life I actually somewhat got what a quantum is

Hes cooking !

Vintage Karl Marx mention ! :O So eine simple Schönheit in Zolas Stil

Good chapter !

Oh! This definition was completely new to me !!

Extension of capital, Marx & Engels work in general, Lenin sets out to show the mechanisms behind capitalisms new transfiguration, imperialism. He starts with indepth research backing his first characteristic : concentration (consolidation) of production! Its about time i read this classic

Incredible start and then dives deep into philosophy, which wasnt the airplane lit I expected but es ist nicht minder faszinierend. Just going to be a pretty slow affair i think :)

Third way is interesting. Also fascinaying how a cult of personality is def there in VN but bcs Ho didnt write theory its not tied to dogmatism
