Reading the novella; the writing style has taken duch a massive hit, it feels written for children, chiang overexplains every intention and interiority and the sentences are extremely sauceless

The first story had sophiszicated writing and felt like a clear nod to Borges, but the second one was a much more classic example of a modern sci fi story, a bit too sentimental for my taste although the idea (basically the entropical hiccup theory) was really fun to explore. The third little text was sappy and kind of cheap
