I came out here to have a good time and I'm Honestly Feeling So Attacked Right Now. I didn't expect an optimistic good time to take a sad turn :(

DNF. Shit just isn't readable.

Still a fascinating ride. Can confirm it took a direction I didn't entirely expect despite having read a lot of spoiler-y synopses.

By far my favourite author even though I've only read one of his books. His prose is instantly engaging. He makes what could have been predictable surprising and the unexpected thus even more revelatory. His books read like he enjoys describing the gadgets a bit too much but it's good not in spite of it but because of it. Favourite author across all genres.

好想DNF啊！好水好尬好中二！100页再不吸引到我我就要DNF了，明明之前还觉得水千丞文笔成熟、故事狗血却吸引人的来着！

A lot of this stuff are not necessarily what I need right now because I personally worked through some of these issues under different contexts. But it can still be useful to someone else.

DNF. I can’t. The plot works but the emotions are all over the place. One second it’s overflowing with cheesy confessions and the next it’s sputtering onto bland exposition. You see what the author is trying to do with a lot of the sentences and chapters but that’s the thing. The intentions are not subtle enough for it to feel like an organic read. Sorry.

It’s way more intriguing than it has any right to be. Now I see what all the hype is about.
