An absolutely beautiful, lovely, peaceful read. I’ve never been so quickly obsessed with a character as I was with Anne. She is melodramatic and hysterically hilarious and so pure. This is definitely the book to pick up if you need a change of pace and are looking for some joy.

This book is unlike anything I’ve read. Fredrik Backman has a gift for creating characters you deeply know and stories that impact your soul. I can’t imagine finding an author who more carefully and beautifully writes what it is to be a human and live life.

This book can very easily be triggering and heartbreaking. Read with care, and don’t be afraid to take breaks between chapters.
