The word utopia is showing up a lot in a way that feels pointed. Like, they mentioned nightclubs called Utopia, Eden, Elysium, and Xanadu and then the next chapter heading poem featured all of those except Xanadu. And now utopia popping up again. I'm connecting the dots

I have to say these characters actually have a really well thought out relationship and conflicts this is not what I expected from this book

I picked this up because it looked silly but honestly this story is genuinely quite good

Maria and I are doing our usual "buddy read a romance novel with the most insane premise we can find" and not only does this one have a particularly good insane premise, the story is actually very good too. Already looking at a genuine serious review. Big if true.

I like that this book does not try to trick me into thinking there will be a happy ending here. Need to know everything about this fucked up world regardless
