The writing in this book is top notch

even if i didn’t read fanfiction religiously i would be able to tell that these two were draco malfoy and hermione granger coded and it’s like catnip to me

the writing in this book is top tier. unfortunately for all other books I ever read, my standard of writing will be based off of miss Daphne’s writing style.

also, all i can think about whenever the main fmc has her internal dialogue with everyone around her acting weird is “why are you all acting weird towards me?”

i don’t trust that skank bitch Mrs. Danvers AT ALL. girl you better watch out girl

I’m really trying with this book but why are we taking a page and a half to describe how drab and shitty London is…. like that could’ve been a paragraph. this does not bode well for how things will be described in the rest of the book. maybe focus more on making your main character likable (bc rn i hate him) instead so much description.

i dnf’d this book. the only good thing about it it the octopus and he isn’t even in it that much. i truly do not care what happened to that lady’s son and i also truly do not care what is going to happen with that man child looking for his dad.
