Wonder why it is so difficult to to pay attention to an audiobook if I'm not otherwise occupies, like commuting or taking a shower. If I'm sitting still, I'd rather read!

I miss reading.

Continuing on with this uplifting and sweet book. I enjoy it but some parts have become a bit repetitive, and some of the advice is obvious and clearly a rehash of classic advice. Still, this is definitely a book worth reading. Will be more effective for religious audience or those with a tolerance for constant religious references and language.

If you are going to get a book by Nick Vujicic I recommend getting the audio version. He is such a happy and sweet character; this shines through the audio version in a way it could not in print.

Now that I have finished Great Expectations, I'm settling in with easier books. Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book is intelligent, funny and poignant. The Great Courses lecture I will be starting soon. The memoir... ah give me a break I just read Great Expectations. I'm entitled to read a little crap.

I am finding Great Expectations to be the best first Dickens book to read. Book has pulled me in and the language/foreignness of the settings/colloquialisms have not been as off-putting as in some of his other books. I'm getting used to thinking of reading this book as a pleasurable experience. Mentally reviewing some of the themes as I go along.
