Why is this "ancient evil" invested in some artist? why does he want her to paint again? I thought he thrived on suffering. Makes no sense

I can't understand this guy's motivations. Why is he stalking the human? If he likes pain and suffering, why does he help her? Makes no sense.

The author can't keep her analogies straight

This guy can't decide if he's evil or not. He sounds like an emo edgelord. And that's just the prologue.

It's not often that I simpathize with the villain. But this poor woman hasn't done anything to them! Quite the opposite! I don't like Adriana's approach, but I heartily approve of her making his life miserable. He absolutely deserves it.

Oh, so she doesn't want him to talk to other women? I thought she wanted him to make friends! The goalposts have moved yet again without a word from her.

I never thought I would be angry at a Ruby Dixon book. But I am. So fuckin angry.

And we're in back to back sex scenes that feel cold because he's punishing her for not letting him own her completely.

So he wants to own her. Great guy.

This discourse of "I like kink, but you don't belong there" is so stupid. And misogynistic. I heve heard that same thing form cheaters, to justify having a mistress. this madonna vs whore shit is the worst, in my opinion.

Why haven't they given her a gun? Misogynystic pricks, the lot of them.

Ah, yes, nothing says romance more than a bunch of old men deciding who a young woman can or can't marry. And of course, have children, because that's all women are good for. Fuck this thing.

"fuck that shut"
I'm pretty sure it was trying to say "shit". Sigh.

"We're still touching either, but we aren't close"

This thing has so many mistakes like this. it's making it hard to continue.

I'm not liking this "I didn't gave him what he needed so that's why he cheated" line of thinking.

So, she has allergies, but never bothered to ask if the food had any allergens? How irresponsible is she?

So... They have very little time to redo the flyers, so they decide to fuck in the office, then clean, BEFORE doing the flyers they had little time to redo as it was? OMG.

Wait, he has a beard? Or does it appear and dissapear with the rest of his body hair? I find that kinda creepy.

So, no only did this man guilt her into going on a date knowing she was tired, he tricked her into doing a difficult stunt without telling her about it. Swoon (that's sarcasm, BTW).

Finally they've hooked up! I feel like this has lasted a longer time than necessary.

What's the point of the text messages at the beginning of each chapter if characters act like they were never exchanged?

"Your face might be able to be replicated, but your ego can't." 😂 I'm dying 😂

And the arranged marriage thing from the blurb has come and gone in a span of less than ten pages.

He's running through the trees in a forest. In Vegas. IN. FREAKING. VEGAS.

And she just purchased the hotel. This set up is way too long. We haven't even made it to the start of the freaking blurb!

And finally she's at the old hotel from the blurb. Nothing has happened so far that couldn't be omitted or summarized.
