okay well. the writing is quite good but there's maybe some things i disagree with science wise

okay i decided since i had access to this audiobook that's how i'd continue it while i was at work today and i. wow. it's been a looooong time since i've felt this kind of conflicted over a novel. there are some things being done Incredibly Clumsily and honestly kind of offensively in some places but i can tell it's being done with heart and i would be lying if there haven't been some lines/concepts that hit good

ohhhhhhh boy okay here we go

This book is such a baffling combination of some of the worst bullshit I’ve ever seen and some of the truest things it hurts to have said to my face. There is very little in between. I have no idea who this is for, because it is not writers with no context. Not having context will not make his explanations of violence make any more sense, but god fucking damn, if you have the context it hits somewhere deep

this is really not what i needed it to be

okay the unfortunate part of this book is it is getting less interesting as it goes on

i don't think i'm going to like this book, but i am interested to see why i don't like it

Okay the gender differences chapter was one of the worst things I’ve ever read

Okay this guy might be a nut job and a little delusional about the current state of the world, this is going to be Fucking Fascinating to read alongside Never Split the Difference (which is fantastic btw hard recommend for literally everyone)

Alright we gotta do percentages with this bad boy too because the bootleg I got from a fellow author doesn’t have page numbers that track At All with any edition lol
