Needed some brain rot

copying and pasting a chapter from Adam Grant, who I adore, feels like cheating writing a book

I’m like brene’s #1 fan but so far this book is a let down

So her other book was PHENOMENAL but this is like a series of journal prompts with her responses or other peoples which is just different vibe …. May not finish tbh

The chapter titles have me screaming

This had me in tears— author does such a good job conveying her pain and healing process

I’ve been avoiding deeper books lately but this is so engaging and well written — it’s like the body keeps score but one woman’s story and way more personal

oh this is written so well and is like reading about my own life growing up in Louisiana but also makes me never hope to have a first born daughter

borderline getting death threats from the library to return this so will continue in a few months lol

lowkey like a regurgitated textbook but will keep pushing through

this is so cheesy but also can’t put it down so 10/10 for turning off my brain

idk which of my friends read this one but it inspired me to pick it up… ngl the girl who was told she’s a bad kisser like that insult would crumple me

Absolutely meant to be an audiobook but also this is like 100% just ripping off a psychologist’s ideas and putting them into a more digestible book

yo no one told me the entire book is a dialogue between two people like who does that

everyone loves tinx so I thought I would read this and it actually just lacks substance to the extent I’m like she went to Stanford??
