so far really enjoying the 3rd floor of adventure! what a fun and unexpected terrain to be traversing. super excited to see how the mysteries and boss battle unfold

love the writing style! several quotes stick out as beautifully worded/written

thoroughly enjoyed the first chapter of this book. so far there have been a few profound quotes that i will share in my final update upon finishing the book. i am enjoying the interactions between characters so far, the bond between Meilin and Xiuying is very touching and thought-provoking for me as someone who isn’t knowledgeable about other cultures and their history.

definitely got sucked in. loving the switch between past and present day. Jane is a compelling main character that is perfectly flawed. She evokes mixed emotions for sure, compassion and discontent for sure. I love characters written this way.

definitely interested to see how far Jane’s obsession will go. this is gearing up to be a very gripping read

I’m really enjoying the world building that comes with this side quest, as well as how perplexing Kizmel is.

umm obsessed with this. Jacob’s nesting habit is too real and relatable. love the representation in this book so far!

Ulfger lowkey ate Modron up here. i mean neither o them is really wrong its just the situation in Avalon that has out them both between a rock and a hard place. prob awkward for Peter to watch this interaction go down, i know it would be for me.
