another memoir that could use more semicolons

enjoying this so far

it’s always a memoir that gets me out of a reading slump

going to finish the book rn but have to pause for the WeMa mention

i think my favorite lines in this book so far have been the ones regurgitated from lena’s mom

i love how strong her voice is in this book so far. i even went as far as finding the audiobook to hear one specific sentence in her voice because it was just so hannah horvath, who seems to just be so lena dunham.

the line “my body was simply a tool to tell the story” really stood out to me while reading today, because that seems to represent the entire function of this memoir… and perhaps her life?

add lena dunham to my fantasy dinner party list. i think we have more in common than i expected

30 pages left! i’ve been reading this for hours straight. she’s just such a good writer! jennette mccurdy is definitely on my fantasy dinner party invite list

have to do french work but liking this so far

1. i love how this guy writes because even with big words i don’t feel stupid reading it and 2. i love how he writes in a narrator voice about the same thing he said in that podcast, he’s great

taking a pause on intermezzo because i listened to a podcast with this author and this book is great so far!!!!
