155 pages of the same story as book 1. 155 pages that weren’t needed, and it honestly feels like a waste, just something to hit a word count.
Regardless of how good the rest of the book is, it lost a star and will not be a 5⭐️ read for me. That was so annoying.

Not going to lie, I’m really disappointed so far.
I hate when authors use the cop out of making a second book just to show the other characters point of view for the same story line as the first, like ya I want to hear his point of view, but an entirely new book that was hyped this much needs to add to the story, not tell us what we already know, from a different pov. I really hope it gets better

So far this is not a cohesive book at all.
I’m assuming the separate stories will come together to merge the people involved, but as of right now it feels like I’m reading 3 separate stories in one book and I really don’t like it.

Everyone on TT says to give Damon a chance… and umm I don’t think I will. I’ll finish this book, because I want to finish the series. But I won’t ever like Damon. His tragic backstory doesn’t excuse the BS he does “oh I’m a traumatized rich boy so I need to traumatize everyone else in my life” I think no.

Did this immediately get moved to the front of my currently reading Que and push everything back? Yes.
That trigger warning list was absolutely wild and I’m so excited 😂
