Yeah ok so. My year in review;
I had a pretty good beginning to 2025. I was reading a lot. Chapter books even and getting through my physical tbr. Then August hit. And my dog, my best friend, was diagnosed with inoperable cancer and he had about 4 weeks to live. He passed at the end of August and the rest of the year was a depression induced blur. I don’t even know what I want 2026 to look like.

The 2nd male lead has had his whole story told basically and I feel for him but Ik he isn’t cannon so I’m just. Waiting…I don’t like the MMC too much but I believe I will soon.

Reading a book where the MMC is jealous of the one the FMC loves but neither of them know the one the FMC loves is actually him so they are both just acting dumb as fuck and it’s cute. Their dumb shits together ❤️

Went to Barns and Nobel and bought a book because the woman on the cover was pretty. Idek if I’ll ever read this book but by god that woman was so pretty. 🏳️‍🌈

Losing my best friend in the whole world. My little dog Winston. He has cancer and he is in a lot of pain. I just want to say. Fuck cancer.

2025: the year of the slump

Everyone seems to be in reading slumps this year and I’m no exception. What is in this 2025 air???

My dog (Winston) might have cancer again (this time multiple masses on the liver and spleen). It’s terrifying thinking my best friend could not be here tomorrow. Cancer sucks. Can I get a fuck cancer?
