this book is kinda bad…

I REALLY LIKED THIS ONE

i got a lot of wes anderson’s fantastic mr fox in this story i really enjoyed it especially the laced raisins part like they did that exactly but with blueberries in the movie i’ve reached roald dahl flow state

that chapter was so hard to get through 😭

i dunno it’s fun and easy to read but i just don’t feel for any of the characters nor do i feel that the plot has any impact on me personally

meh not my fav

this book is already so sweeping and incredibly well written

despite this one being incredibly short it had so many concealed meanings i feel so weirded out.

hugo just listed characteristics that literally scream me and then said they emanate from sinister depths kms

i honestly find it a bit incongruent with marius’s personality how much he abhorred valjean after his confession. even tho hugo shed light onto that but i’m still suspicious that was a bit unnecessary on marius’s side and god i wish valjean would tell marius that he was the one that saved him during the barricades.

i can’t this is so terrible my heart aches for valjean

after multiple instances of me comparing valjean to sisyphus we have it here ladies and gentlemen! confirmation on page 1240!! never give up.

I’M SO SAD
